Belisana was a Celtic Goddess associated with healing, laughter and the sun's rays. Using a marudai to make a kumihimo braid I incorporated
many citrine chips and tiny lustrous freshwater pearls as well as lots of very pretty glass beads. Citrine is a truly magical stone.
As well as attracting wealth it has healing and energizing properties, especially if worn at the throat. Belisana is also associated
with the woodland, so I've kept the form of this piece quite organic. Button and loop closure. Length just under 17 inches.
